Thoughts while in the shower: CAN has nothing and everything to do with it.
I recently lost a friend to cancer.
It should really be called CAN’T-CER because there is nothing CAN about it. It’s a disease that creeps up and takes hold of anything in its path. Nobody ever knows when or if cancer will affect their lives in some way. We don’t know if it will ever be something that we have to deal with or help someone else deal with. And we can’t just sit around worrying about it. We don’t know what the future holds and we can’t control where it takes us. So what CAN we do?
Tis the season of new scents
I have a love hate relationship with the Christmas Season. 
I love the festive decorations, cheerful music, the warm fuzzy mood that everyone is in and of course the overall reason for the season. I also love all the new Holiday Exclusive scents that hit the shelves of my favourite stores, but what I hate is that they are only around for the season and then disappear for 10 months. Urgh!! It’s like the worst joke ever played on me and it happens every year. What about those of us who want to smell like Candy Cane Love, Cinnamon Spice, Cranberry Lace, Peppermint Twist or Apple Cider Cheer all year round? Sigh….
